  • Manage the portfolio of tenders for solar and wind projects for which you are responsible (expected about 4-5 per year), from the identification, in cooperation with development managers, of the opportunity to the preferred bidder award;
  • Propose the winning co-investor, if that is the case, or industrial partners at the appropriate time, then implement them (signature of a Joint Venture Agreement or Strategic Partnership Agreement) and finally ensure that the interests of Voltalia and its partners are constantly aligned;
  • Ensure market intelligence and monitor customer/country/competitors context of your tender portfolio, in liaison with all Voltalia teams concerned (Development Teams, Financing Dept, Excom, Board, etc.);
  • Define the commercial strategy and response to the call for tenders to maximize the chances of success of Voltalia. Build internal socialization and consensus around the proposed strategy and then implement it;
  • Constitute (in relation with the different department managers concerned) the project teams dedicated to each call for tenders of your portfolio, and define the use of external service providers,
  • Lead Project teams by defining priorities, arbitrating conflicts of resources and objectives, advising alternative solutions, measuring progress, implement effectively the chosen commercial strategy,
  • Constantly calibrate the competitiveness and effectiveness of the proposed solutions

  • Lead the external service providers after performing the selection process via external consultations, and participate directly in contractual and commercial negotiations with the main suppliers / technological partners of the call for tender,
  • Anticipate all difficulties (technical, commercial, contractual, financial, internal) and propose /implement the necessary alternative solutions,
  • Manage all internal review and validation processes before submitting an offer, including a presentation if necessary to the different Committees or the Board of Directors,
  • Negotiate with the customer, partners, suppliers, financing organizations to definitively acquire the call for tender,
  • Propose good practices and areas for improvement within the department aimed at improving its functioning and efficiency,
  • Maintain and promote the values, strength and reputation of the company and its sectors of activity during any interaction with external stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS


  • Master in the field of engineering or business;
  • At least 10 years of experience in a similar position including at least 5 years of experience in the development of RE projects with knowledge of the market and renewable technologies (preferably solar, wind and storage);
  • A successful experience of commercial success in energy infrastructure contracts with high financing and structuring stakes;
  • Fluent in English
  • Portuguese, Spanish, Arabic or Russian would be a plus
  • Excellent mastery of Office tools (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word), PVDesign and PVSyst would be a plus
  • Knowledge in financial and legal PPA structure would be a plus
