Strategy & Market Intelligence Advisor M/F

We are an electricity producer from wind, solar, hydro, biomass and storage and also a service provider to 3rd party clients such as Development, EPC, O&M and Distribution.Today we are in 20 countries, split among 4 continents, and offering a global operating capacity to our clients. We are listed on the regulated Euronext market in Paris since July 2014.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to support the growth of development activities within Voltalia’ s international perimeter. These will be the main responsibilities:

• Identifying and analysing opportunities for medium and long-term positioning in a market;
• Interpreting data and analysing results;
• Reviewing regulation and policy dynamics in key markets;
• Analysing national and global trends impacting the renewable sector;
• Preparing written briefing notes on significant policy matters;
• Preparing market analyses for specific markets as well as sectoral forecasts;
• Cultivating relationships with national and international stakeholders;
• Providing timely and relevant insights into market intelligence and policy, and translating that into useful strategy;
• Supporting the Country Managers and Development teams to understand their needs and priorities.

REQUIREMENTS

• Master’s degree in Science or Social Science;
• Proven work experience as a policy and/ or market analyst in a strategic, operating, or analytical role;
• Strong knowledge of the renewable energy sector in Europe and Africa;
• Knowledge of broader international and trans-national trends in energy and business;
• Experience in writing concise and coherent briefing notes and policy papers;
• Experience in data analysis and research;
• Experience in translating policy insights into business strategy;
• Experience in analysis of customer and competitor behaviour;
• Experience in communicating complex subjects in an accessible and compelling manner;
• Excellent communication skills in English (French, Portuguese, or Spanish is a plus);
• This role can be based in Paris, London, Porto, Milan, or Madrid.
