As Project Manager in the Development team you will take the responsability for :

• Project management of renewable energy projects within the development portfolio

• Completion of screening, scoping and pre-application for new projects

• Coordination and management of the technical studies and planning documents, including EIA.

• Maintaining contact with determining authorities and driving a successful planning determination

• Develop relationships with partners in order to reduce the risk and cost associated with the planning process

• Liaise and manage planning consultants for planning services, where required

• Completion of feasibility studies and implementing new feasibility and planning validation processes

• Tendering for planning consultant related services

• Management of consented projects planning related activities including condition discharge and non-material amendment applications

• Managing project budgets and internal progress reporting

• Consultation with external stakeholders

• Dissemination of planning specific information within the wider team

REQUIREMENTS

• Educated to degree level or professional qualification preferred, ideally electrical engineering

• 10 years min of experience in the renewables (mostly wind) industry and a consultant or developer

• Proven track record of delivering energy projects through the consenting regime
