Job Description


As an Avionics Systems Engineer, you will be at the forefront of system development and certification, working alongside a talented team to ensure the reliability and safety of our avionics systems. This is your opportunity to apply your technical expertise and make a meaningful impact in one of the most exciting fields in aerospace today.

Your mission during this flight:

  • Managing internal systems engineering processes aligned with the development lifecycle, including requirements management and program milestone deliverables

  • Facilitating the integration activities for newly developed and COTS equipment (e.g., integration tests, test procedure reviews, environmental qualification gap analysis) at both equipment and aircraft level

  • Acting as the liaison between the lab test team and the flight test team to coordinate verification activities

  • Supporting the validation and overseeing the verification activities of the overall avionics system

  • Contributing to the system- and component-level milestones (e.g., PDR / CDR / TRR)

  • Supporting the development assurance activities (e.g. system audits with authorities for ARP-4754A compliance demonstration)

  • Preparing compliance evidence for certification (certification plan, test plans, design reviews, analysis reports etc.)

  • Providing support for formal audits and exchanges with EASA


Qualifications


Check in your professional skills:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering or a related field

  • At least 5 years of proven experience in aerospace development

  • Strong knowledge and practical expertise in the system development lifecycle (ARP4754A)

  • Experience with avionics functions and technologies (communication, navigation, surveillance, indication, crew alerting, and data recording)

  • Familiarity with aviation standards such as ARP4761 and DO-160

  • Strong analytical skills and a structured approach for “getting things done”

  • Excellent written and spoken English

Preferred:

  • Experience with software and airborne electronic hardware standards (DO-178, DO-254)

  • Experience working in an EASA approved Design Organization (Part21J)

  • Knowledge of the certification deliverables for Type Certificate programs in CS-25/23/29/27 and/or SC-VTOL programs
