Internship - Fundraising and M&A - Climate and Deep Tech
Vinculum is a boutique advisory firm focused on deep tech and climate tech. We advise founders on fundraising (€3M–€50M), M&A, and financial structuring across three verticals: Industry & AI, Energy Transition, and Mobility & Supply Chain.
The firm was founded by Vincent Ruinet (École Polytechnique, UC Berkeley), former VC investor at Future Positive Capital and guest lecturer at HEC, and the extended team is composed of partners with 10+ years in strategy consulting and M&A at Tier 1 firms.
You'll work directly with senior members of Vinculum across all active mandates.
60% - Live deal execution Build financial models, draft investment memos and pitch decks, join calls with founders and investors, and support fundraising and M&A processes end to end.
25% - Market intelligence Map sectors, track funding activity, identify new opportunities, and maintain our deal flow and competitive intelligence.
15% - Firm-building Contribute to internal tools, external content, business development, and attend relevant events.
- Master’s-level student (business, engineering, or related)
- Genuine interest in climate tech, deep tech, and venture capital
- Prior experience in VC, startups, or corporate finance is strongly valued
- We work with AI tools extensively and expect you to as well
- Proactive and comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment
- ? Location: Central Paris (flexible arrangement, including occasional remote work)

Few internships give you live deal exposure across VC, project finance, and M&A in the same six months. You'll own real workstreams and build a cross-disciplinary skillset at the intersection of finance and frontier tech.
