This position is part of the Supplier Quality & Development in Regional Indirect and Service, which coordinates SQ&D activities and ensures the highest focus on quality, safety, and environment. The key task is to support the strategy for supplier base management in the Transport supply base, in close collaboration with Procurement, Transport, and Supply Chain, and main stakeholders globally and in the regions to enforce high supplier performance, towards zero incidents and CoPQ avoidance.


Responsibilities
  • Deploy the Vestas Quality, Safety, and Environment Strategy towards external suppliers for Transportation
  • Define and improve process and governance for the supplier qualification, performance management, metrics, and development of the service maintenance suppliers
  • Secure proper operating model with key stakeholders in the global and regional organization to develop performance management and development initiatives with suppliers
  • Ensure a high-quality culture throughout the supply base and ensure relevant QHSE agreements with suppliers are in place
  • Propose improvement projects to increase the effectiveness of the supplier quality processes

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent qualification
  • Having +5 years of experience in a similar role / relevant industry background: Wind industry, Supply Chain and Transport, and supplier quality management
  • Proven knowledge and deep understanding of Transportation modes, (sea, road, rail..) and supply chains of oversized components
  • Certified ISO auditor/lead auditor or other relevant standards and relevant quality-safety certifications will be an added value
  • Green Belt Six Sigma qualification will be an added value

Competencies
  • Good knowledge in continuous Improvement and Root Cause Analysis and able to use key tools e.g. 5 Why, 8D, Ishikawa, FMEA, etc
  • Good project management skills with the ability to facilitate complex development projects across the organization
  • Competency in data analytics and good problem-solving skills, having the ability to identify and deliver actionable solutions to complex problems
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse and multicultural environment
  • Motivated personality, independent learning & critical thinking skills
  • Full proficiency in English
