You will be part of the Regional Finance team in the region Northern and Central Europe (NCE) and collaborate closely with the different Finance functions in the NCE region as well as various stakeholders in other functions inside and outside Vestas. The Regional Finance team in NCE is covering the full scope from Finance, Accounting, Tax, and Business Performance Management. Geographically, the NCE region covers around 40 legal entities within Northern, Central and Eastern Europe.


Responsibilities
The main focus for this role will be Vestas legal entities in Poland. Involvement in other areas of the region may also be possible depending on the needs in the team. The team is naturally supporting and learning from each other.
The role includes a wide a span of responsibilities:

  • Ensuring accounting and tax compliance (CIT, WHT, TP) as well as being the contact person for local authorities and advisors
  • Preparation of statutory accounts (Financial Statements) as well as supporting of statutory audits
  • Reconciliation from IFRS Group Accounts to local statutory accounts
  • Support in tax audits
  • Continuously identify and highlight improvement initiatives in processes/compliance
  • Support timely and accurate closing process including calculation of current and deferred taxes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant area such as auditing, finance, tax, or similar
  • Relevant experience from an audit company or similar function in an international environment
  • Efficient understanding of accounting regulations
    • Good skills in Microsoft Office and SAP preferred
