The Danish service department with headquarters in Videbæk are responsible for service and maintenance of all Vestas' wind farms in Denmark. As a technical support planner you will be in an interesting position because you are in the middle of the work order flow. As a technical support planner you will be building a network to collaborate on different technical solutions being the link between field and experts in other departments in Vestas, as you will be key to preparations that is to be executed in the field. As a technical support planner you will be collaborating with technicians, dispatchers, customer service management, and other stakeholders in the organization with a great opportunity to grow.


Responsibilities


As a technical support planner, you will be responsible for:
  • Technical analysis and preparation of service orders for technicians and technical approval of service orders after completion.
  • Define resources needed for service orders, e.g. competencies, materials and tools.
  • Find technical documentation and work instructions for technicians.
  • Daily communication with technicians, planners, technical and customer group.
  • Continuous improvement, including proactive search for areas for improvement, as well as strategic and long-term approach to planning future tasks.

Qualifications


At the professional level, it is desired that you have:
  • 2-3 years of experience with technical planning
  • Experience from technical environments as either a wind turbine Technician, engineer or electrician
  • Fluent in Danish and proficient in English, both in writing and speech
  • Good IT understanding for Office package, SAP/Salesforce

Competencies


When it comes to personal qualities, we hope you have:
  • General understanding of wind turbine generator technology and an interest in diving into technical documentation.
  • Good communication skills both oral and in writing.
  • Structured and solution-oriented approach to daily tasks.
  • Ability to think clearly in a time-sensitive setting, as well as the ability to handle varying workloads and tasks.
