Northern and Central Europe is a sales business unit covering Scandinavia, UK, Ireland, Poland, the Baltics, Germany, Benelux as well as Eastern Europe. We are responsible for the Sales function, Project, Installation and Service of wind farms throughout these regions. We aim to be the No. 1 performing business unit within Vestas, and we aim to make Vestas Northern and Central Europe the best places to work.
Service North is responsible for Service Sales, Commissioning, Service and Maintenance of the wind turbines within the UK/IRL, Benelux, Baltic and Nordic countries. As Area Supervisor you will be leading a team of Field Supervisors (Team leaders) for technicians working in the field in all North countries in close collaboration with colleagues in same function.


Responsibilities

As an Area Supervisor you have the responsibility of ensuring your team of team leaders are leading the crews of Technicians in a compliant way with Vestas' safety standards and processes. Moreover, you can expect to be responsible for:

  • Development of individual leaders and the team
  • Creating strategic initiatives in collaboration with your team and colleagues
  • Implementing department strategic initiatives in collaboration with your colleagues
  • Continuously monitoring and report safety and operational performance

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Leader within the Wind Industry
  • Experience from environments with focus on safety, quality, and performance improvements
  • Possess good IT skills within MS Office, SAP and Salesforce
