Regional Blade Production Engineer and Technical Support-Taranto (It)

Regional PE&TS owns the Engineering support the blades factories in the region. The department covers all manufacturing activities in the region and be the first escalation point for the frontline TS employees in the factories. Regional PE&TS will be supporting the implementation of new blade models in the region. Furthermore, the department will lead tech transfers inside the region and support tech transfers globally.


Responsibilities


  • Coordinate and collect blades manufacturing requirements and improvements.

  • Project management for technology transfers between factories.

  • Setup blades assembly processes, process flows, assembly documentation, training plans in Coordination with local technical departments in factories.

  • Project coordination in the region for process improvement projects

  • Assess and optimize existing blades production processes.

  • Define technical skills and training programs.

  • Ensure best practice sharing intra region and across regions.

  • Design methods and collaborate on ideas for maintaining or increasing production levels while improving production costs, yields, quality, and safety.

  • Support Local Technical departments in troubleshoot process problems and identify solutions, eliminate the reoccurrence, downtime and reduce maintenance costs.

  • Formulate and maintain regional procedures in compliance with corporate oversite.

  • Drive manufacturing maintenance requirements/improvements and standards set up


Qualifications


  • Engineer Bachelor of Science, or Master of Science degree in Engineering

  • Understanding of composite manufacturing preferred.

  • Up to 10 years related experience in production engineering or combination of education and experience (Experience in blades or fiber components manufacturing industry in implementation of products, processes, and equipment).

  • Exposure in working in an intercultural environment.
