We are looking for a Professional – Process Engineer for Handling & Logistic to join our Blades Process Engineering organization in Taranto.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the design, optimization, and standardization of handling and logistics processes for wind turbine blades and components. You will be part of a dedicated team working across Process, Tooling, Documentation, Operational Support, and Training, and you will help ensure stable and efficient operations that meet our Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) targets.


Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize handling & logistics processes for blade manufacturing.
  • Contribute to the development of process roadmaps, requirements, and specifications.
  • Support industrialization and standardization efforts across manufacturing sites.
  • Apply Lean methodologies to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
  • Use digital tools and data analysis to drive performance improvements.
  • Investigate and solve production issues using structured methods (5 Whys, Fishbone).
  • Actively contribute to building a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
  • Knowledge of Lean principles.
  • Around 5 years of experience in process engineering roles within manufacturing or logistics.

Experience in:

  • Process flow creation and process requirements.
  • Handling & logistic process specifications.
  • Data analysis for process optimization.
  • Working in a Lean and data-driven organization.

Competencies

  • Technical and analytical skills in handling & logistics processes.
  • Knowledge or motivation to learn about composite materials (fiberglass, carbon fiber, epoxy resins).
  • Experience applying Lean tools and structured problem-solving methods (5 Whys, Fishbone).
  • Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented.
  • Strong collaboration and networking skills across cultures.
  • Willingness to work in a factory environment to understand and improve processes.
  • Eagerness to learn and continuously develop expertise.
