Sr. Supply Chain Planner

You will join the supply chain and transport organization where our focus is to strengthen the E2E throughout the supply chain, which will be especially needed for our coming ramp up in offshore in APAC. The stronger E2E focus will also give our teams more customer focus; ensuring they get their products and services on time in full and at the right safety, quality, and costs. Lastly, this organization will simplify workflows and reduce handover points in the supply chain and will further enable growth.


Responsibilities

  • Dedicated focus on delivering the last V174 projects in APAC & upcoming offshore projects.
  • Work closely with relevant teams (construction, manufacturing planning, logistics, procurement, transport, and customs) and ensure that all deliverables in place at the right time for the offshore projects according to the IDP (Internal Delivery Plan)
  • Evaluate changes in component configuration, timing, and cost, as well as project-related risks to meet customers' demands while balancing supply chain constraints and securing profitability.
  • Deliver OTIF
  • Communicate demand forecasting in between the construction, manufacturing planning/procurement and transport outbound team in optimization of the FG (finished goods) inventories and EXW-to OSD/TOC/TOR
  • RIM (Risk and Issue Manager) Risks - On top of all risks related to Project
  • Engage regional manufacturing planner/procurement and project planner/BTPA (bottom tower preassembly) planner/project manager into IDP maintaining process via Vestas Tool - Inquiry Database for routine activities
  • Handle and ensure the IDP change requests (INQ) to be responded and facilitate the validation process to make sure that SBU and PBU can agree on the final plan/solution for system implementation in-time. Communicate the outcome of the validation/planning simulation/project risk evaluation to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Deliver and clarify information of IDP to all relevant stakeholders in case the gap of time from system implementation for delivery plan execution
  • Deliver weekly project supply chain planning review meetings with project planners, regional/global planners, and transport outbound team
  • Track BOM readiness for the Hibiki offshore project co-working with the EBSC team against the IDP, the high-level MSI (Master Schedule Item). To be consulted by EBSC on the IDP schedule as well as to be informed of the readiness status in case of any observed/foreseen project-related issues or risks, making sure to communicate and escalate in time.
  • Track open ISM and engage ISM PM, construction project manager and sales portfolio planner for closing the tickets

Qualifications

  • We expect candidates to have a relevant master's degree within Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Commercial Operations Engineer, Manufacturing or equivalent
  • Stakeholder management on all organizational levels in a global organization
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience for instance in project-based industries and experience in global B2B companies
  • Proficiency in English both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
