Site Warehouse and Logistics Team Leader

Oversee all activities in the warehouse. Monitor receiving and distribution operations. Implement operational procedures and policies and monitoring security operations. Ensure the safe and effective use of warehouse equipment. Motivate employees to work toward desired goals, maintain documents and keep accurate records of warehouse activities, not limited to invoicing but warehouse administrative documents such as licenses, firefighting certificates, and regulatory compliance requirements to ensure the warehouse fully operational.


  • Supervise team to prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)

  • Overseeing receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.

  • Implementing operational policies and procedures.

  • Implementing and overseeing security operations.

  • Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.

  • Ensuring the safety of staff.

  • Motivating and disciplining staff.

  • Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities.

  • Maintaining awareness and knowledge of the condition and location of fleet vehicles.

  • Assisting with deliveries where required.

  • Ensure and monitor inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits

  • Manage and ensure tracking equipment preservation metrics and schedule to ensure site resource planning and allocation. Daily work activity is planned weeks/months in advance while handling day-to-day maintenance & preservation work.

  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization is required.

  • Report any discrepancies

  • Communicate and cooperate with coworkers and their teams well Site Manager for pre-assembly, offshore construction and offshore commissioning of wind power turbines

  • Secure the Operation and maintenance of warehouse vehicles and equipment

  • Ensure quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.

  • Supervise of Maintenance and Preservation tasks such as the following: inspect interior/exterior components are clean, dry, and corrosion free; coat exposed un-painted machined surface with corrosion inhibitor; install, re-install, or replace protective covers; manually rotate shafts; fasten and securely place material in wooden crate(s) for mechanical protection during storage and shipment; ensure certain electronics are stored with an adequate amount of desiccant to prevent moisture; material such as detectors or circuit breakers are housed in climate-controlled storage and properly packaged with bubble wrap, as necessary.

  • Perform tasks in a safe manner and promote safe activities; exercise stop work authority if unsafe conditions exist

  • Recognize issues or waste and proactively recommend solutions to drive optimization and participate in problem solving events.


  • Proven working experience as a Warehouse Leader or Manager

  • 5+ years of warehouse management and logistics experience.

  • Good understanding of warehouse management procedures.

  • Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.

  • Proficient computer skills (MS Office)

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Good leadership, organizational, time management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Good organisation skills.

  • Available to work extended hours.

  • Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems (SAP or other ERPs)

  • Systems application experience and knowledge a must (SAP MM module is highly desirable).

  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods

  • Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • Business Administration bachelor degree or Engineering. MBA in Logistics desired but not a must . Similar position experience is also accepted.

  • Experienced with international logistics projects and warehouse simultaneous operations settings
