Vestas Offshore Service Readiness Department, is part of the overall Offshore Service business in the APAC region, working closely with the Operational Service Team, Sales, Special Projects and Construction. Responsible for the service site setup, support, and preparation, including long term strategic planning for the APAC offshore service regions.
Responsibilities
To ensure that the right Vestas business development projects and core projects are delivered efficiently and deliver the targeted business case
Improve and assist in the implementation of the Service readiness program and define and maintain standards throughout the process.
Define, establish, and maintain processes/procedures for the standards within Service Offshore APAC whilst aligning and working closely with Vestas's Global counterpart departments.
Standardize and introduce economies of repetition in the execution of projects across the offshore portfolio.
Work alongside with both Offshore and Onshore to ensure standardization and best practice is shared across the business
Manage and develop the Offshore integration following the LEAP program that is being implemented across Vestas
Responsible for the process development and continuous optimization within the APAC Offshore Service landscape together with the teams in the APAC Offshore Service Organisation, Special Projects and Sales.
Defining the process and roles alignment across Offshore Service APAC, encouraging innovation and showcasing that processes are vital.
Facilitating workshops and training and documenting processes and improvements
Setting up PPIs (Process Performance Indicators)
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field
A minimum of 5 years' experience in wind turbine service operations and project management
Experience in process improvement, with a proven history of identifying and implementing effective and cost saving measures.
Minimum of 2-3 years' experience working with SAP software or other ERP systems. A Personal certification in SAP would be beneficial.
Fluent in verbal and written English.
Competencies
Knowledge of wind turbine maintenance and repair processes, including safety protocols and industry regulations.
Good organizational skills and the ability to interpret data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
Good understanding of offshore wind turbine industry trends and developments.
Good leadership and communication skills, including the ability to promote a establish new initiatives to management and service site stakeholders.
