The Lean & Continuous Improvement (CI) function is part of the Operations department. Its mission is to implement process optimization, productivity gains, and cost reduction through the application of Lean principles and CI methodologies. The department supports all levels of the organization by facilitating improvement projects, training employees, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement. It plays a key role in aligning operational practices with strategic goals and ensuring sustainable performance enhancements
Responsibilities
- Lead Lean and CI projects by facilitating, coaching, and training team members
- Develop project plans and guide teams to complete improvement initiatives on time
- Analyze operational data using tools like Pareto charts, process maps, and statistical studies
- Promote data-driven decision-making across the organization
- Coordinate plant-wide activities to ensure alignment with CI goals
- Support training efforts across all levels and functions in Lean and CI tools
- Facilitate the implementation of LMPS (Lean Management Production System) tools and programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in coordinating CI events and understanding technical documentation
- Basic knowledge of problem-solving methods
- Lean training or equivalent (belt certification is a plus)
- Functional knowledge of ERP systems and production environments
- Understanding of product quality attributes
- Proficiency in MS Office and effective English communication abilities
