Senior Sales Package Manager
Part of the Korea Offshore Sales team which is part of the Offshore Sub-region of APAC in Vestas
Responsibilities
- Face the customers jointly with the Senior Sales Manager throughout the entire sales process
- Support relevant subject matter experts in the negotiations of all aspects related to construction, technical, HSE and QA in the Turbine Supply Agreement being the overall facilitator in such meetings
- Direct the technical part of the bidding process to ensure an attractive but risk balanced offer.
- Facilitate the negotiations of all aspects related to construction, technical, HSE and QA in the Turbine Supply Agreement together with the relevant subject matter experts
- Work very closely with Technology, Construction, Service Sales, HSE and Quality, bringing commercial insight, flagging and supervising cross-functional risks, and identifying matters that require advance legal escalation. Responding to construction, technical, HSE and QA issues
- Review and provide input to cost and contingency estimates for construction, technical, HSE and QA offerings and ensure consistently high quality of such
- Set new standards for handling the planning, follow up and report progress internally across all tracks involved in the negotiation of the Turbines Supply Agreement Align construction, technical, HSE and QA customer requirements, risk assessment and mitigation with internal stakeholders
- Secure compliance with internal processes, mandates and guidelines
Qualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering or business administration, coupled with at least eight years of professional and project management experience within the wind energy, EPCI offshore oil and gas, power plants, infrastructure, or the construction industry. A master's degree would be preferred
- Solid level of technical understanding and commercial business insight
- Understanding of the technical complexities of offshore wind projects as well as the contractual mechanisms Experience on the technical side in negotiations of large complex projects
- Experience with Yellow FIDIC Book
- Fluency in English is essential. Business level understanding of Korean
