Regional Supply Chain Management Manager - LATAM

The Regional Supply Chain Organization facilitates long-term sales forecasting, enables sales with maturing the portfolio of projects until firm order intake (timing, capacity, budget, configuration), optimizes the portfolio of projects, manage projects risks and changes with transport and construction and ensures the on-time-in-full delivery according to budget.


Responsibilities

Collaborate with manufacturing, transport and construction for managing the portfolio of projects in the region, from EXW to On-Site Delivery;

Coordinate changes of timing, configuration, cost and cash profile;

Identify, assess, and mitigate project-related risks to on-time-in-full delivery and cost;

Optimize the portfolio in terms of on-time-in-full, TOR, CM and pre/post variance.

Receive the production plan (OSP) from the Global Supply Chain team and secure its implementation in the internal and external factories of the region.

Monitor the execution of the plan and the performance of the factories.

Report deviations and recovery plans in collaboration with procurement, logistics and manufacturing.

Handle the inquiries (i.e., changes to the production plan) approved globally.

Coordinate the pick-up of the finished goods with the transport team.


Qualification

Education: Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering/management

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience, with relevant experience building teams

Experience on wind turbine blades manufacturing is desired but not a requirement.

Language: Fluent English


Competencies

Solid knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain and transport in the wind industry.

Change management skills (good in communication, training, coaching)

Self-driven, proactive - take responsibility to ensure progress and results

Open and seek collaboration with team-members + engage creative approach with staff in each function across the organization.

Take responsibility for own area and interact as integrated team-member with other team members

Accept guidelines from functional Management and proactively inform them on issues, risks etc. for full transparency on progress, situation

Pragmatic / hands on approach

Ability to cope with high circumstances at times and get things done with quality

High interpersonal skills (able to communicate clearly at any level)

Problem-solving skills.
