Improvement Sr Manager (Sr. Project Manager)

Business Improvements and Processes is a department within PMO, Portfolio Planning and Analytics under the Latam business unit at Vestas. The goal of PMO, Portfolio Planning and Analytics is to support the region in the profitable execution of onshore and offshore Construction Projects. We ensure the regional construction business has the necessary framework, processes and systems to carry out the projects, and also support the business in running improvement initiatives and ensure alignment of these initiatives with Global Construction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor business improvement projects to support our projects within LAT construction

• Act as a project lead and ensure that the scope and targets of the improvement projects is clearly defined

• Monitor project progress and performance on a continuous basis

• Coordinate and collaborate with project team and project SteerCo

• Ensure effective project planning and control

• Evaluate and prioritise new project requests

• Create and maintain project documentation and ensure all reporting requirements are met on time and to the required quality

Qualifications

• Academic degree in business administration, economics, engineering or equivalent supplemented by Project Management training and accreditation is a benefit

• Solid Project Management experience with 2-3 years of experience in a similar function within a construction/service or IT industry

• In-depth understanding and experience working with the Vestas (or other OEM) Value Chain will definitely benefit you in this position

• Experience from a similar industry and for example from large scale construction projects

• Fluent in English and combine your language skills with professional multi-cultural communication skills

• Owning the ability to prioritise - also in a time-sensitive situation - will be key for this role

• Ability to work across various parts of the value chain, identify and involve the needed business stakeholders

• Great interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships

• Professional communication and stakeholder management skills at various levels of the organisation

• Good business process understanding and ability to work cross functional

• Continuous improvement mind-set as well as a solution-oriented and motivated approach to your work
