Purpose and reason for the existence of the job
Vestas Offshore Service department is responsible for service and maintenance of the wind turbines in multiple windfarms in the Northsea within the Netherlands. The department has an open and informal culture, where teamwork and good communication is the key to our growth. Responsibilities
Responsible for servicing of the wind turbines, through routine checks, repairing, maintenance of software,
electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems and significant component replacement, and troubleshooting:
Tracking the activities as identified in the short and long-term planning and escalate any potential delays in the planning timely to the service manager.
- Accurate and efficient reporting and administration within the set guidelines and timelines.
- Work schedules and ensuring employees work within the working hours regulations.
- Provide correct and the latest work instructions.
- Highlight risks and stop any unsafe working situation, in line with the safety guidelines.
- Availability of materials required for the tasks.
Qualifications
- Completed electrical or mechanical degree from a technical school/college/university
- Fluent English knowledge, Dutch is an advantage
- Ideally 2 years of experience in electrical and mechanical field
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics is a preference
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Driving license category B
