As a Technical Project Manager, you will have an important role in spearheading the development of new manufacturing solutions for the Wind Industry. Leveraging your engineering expertise, you will lead cross-functional teams, oversee project timelines, and ensure the right delivery of innovative manufacturing processes for wind turbine blades. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with suppliers to optimize the supply chain and enhance project efficiency within our diverse and multicultural work environment.

Responsibilities
In this role as Tecnical Project Manager you will Lead the project tooling team, tasks will include:

  • Setting Safety as your highest priority
  • Resource and CAPEX estimation for Tooling area for NPI and TT projects
  • Handle communication within tooling team, suppliers, global installation and Manufacturing PM, create a good process for follow up and close collaboration with tooling suppliers
  • Follow up on timelines, resources and cost and escalate deviations to Manufacturing PM
  • Document Tooling related risks and issues and ensure timely escalation to Manufacturing PM and Head of Tooling, and reporting project status to Manufacturing PM and Head of Tooling
  • Execute and ensure development and delivery of tools according to defined processes ending with TOC with suppliers
  • Facilitate Tooling peer reviews and provide input to Project lessons learned


Qualifications

  • Experience and specific results from larger manufacturing companies. Min. 5 years
  • Experience in technical project management of developing and delivering larger complex manufacturing equipment
  • Engineering degree, either Bachelor or Master level
  • Extensive knowledge from Manufacturing and Design for Manufacturing

  • Capable of propelling technical projects cross departments and cultures, and meeting deadlines
  • Capable of solving problems by using relevant methods and tools with a "hands-on" approach
