Global Repair Operation consists of a team of more than 300 motivated employees spread over several locations and in several departments. Safety is our highest priority. Quality and on-time delivery are also key points to ensure that we deliver best-in-class products at competitive prices. We continuously work to streamline our part of the business and have a major influence on Vestas' Sustainability agenda.
Blades Repair Department is one of the business areas in Global Repair Operation, where our focus is to recycle and refurbish used blades so they can be used on turbines again.


Responsibilities

  • People performance and development dialogue (incl. one-to-one, target setting, development plans)
  • Responsible for providing a safe work environment for employees and training them to work safely as per our work instructions
  • Responsible for the direct and indirect production costs for these departments, to meet or exceed established KPI's. This includes Cost of poor Quality, forecasting, capacity and manpower
  • Department resource planning and delegation of work and ensure an flexible organization in terms of volume, lead time & technical capabilities)
  • Plan for changes in the production schedule including securing the required capacity to meet customer demand
  • Provide input for annual budget; CAPEX, OPEX
  • Create, calculate, and present business cases for development, investments, etc

Qualifications

  • Several years leadership experience within a production environment
  • Experience with continuous improvement and development of teams and production
  • Experience working with highly safety-oriented teams
  • Fluency in Danish and English, both spoken and written
  • Master IT at user level and MS Office
