The department is a Process driven business model with the following departments : Layup , Infusion, Bonding, Handling & Logistics, Finish & Paint, Root Systems and a central based function within Technical Integration. The Process teams are distributed around our Manufacturing sites. The New Blades Process Engineering VP reports to the SVP of Blades Manufacturing.


Responsibilities


  • Design and optimize production processes, within Root System operations
  • Analysis of AS IS and future state
  • Create Process Roadmap, develop Process requirements and specifications and support manufacturing sites with Process Industrialization and standardization
  • Facilitate and support Process Optimization in the manufacturing sites and help build a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability
    Use digital tools like digital twins and data analytics to improve performance and make data-driven decisions
  • Investigating and solving production issues using structured methods such as the 5x Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, and FMEA
  • Applying continuous improvement principles using quality tools like Statistical Process Control (SPC), Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and ensure final product quality

Qualifications


  • Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • GB Six Sigma of Advance Manufacturing Process Analysis
  • 10+ years experience working with Mass Production Products Manufacturing Processes
  • Process Flow creation Data process analyses at a high level
  • Worked with Quality management
  • Composite Materials Knowledge, understanding of fiberglass, carbon fiber, epoxy resins, and other materials used in production
  • Facilitated optimization and standardization within manufacturing processes ( Mass production) with use of the toolbox also mentioned above
  • Use of tools like 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, and FMEA to identify and solve production issues
