Our Supply Chain Planning Department, part of Global Supply Chain, plays a pivotal role in balancing demand and supply across our global operations. We facilitate efficient planning and smooth delivery of components to construction sites, supporting the effective implementation of renewable energy projects on a global scale.


We are looking for an experienced planning expert with extensive knowledge in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP). This position aids our portfolio planning teams in both onshore and offshore sectors, enhancing process standardization, digitalization, and excellence in strategic planning.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee and assist in the formulation of comprehensive planning processes, emphasizing S&OP, IBP, and S&OE frameworks
  • Collaborate with planning teams to balance Portfolio Demand and Supply for Vestas
  • Act as a key interface to Digital Solutions, supporting the digital transformation of planning processes, enabling visibility and decision making
  • Support the development and deployment of planning strategy for Vestas

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field
  • +8 years of experience in supply chain planning within a global, complex environment
  • Experience in developing and implementing S&OP and tactical planning processes
  • Proficient analytical skills and ability to translate business needs into actionable planning strategies
  • Experience with digital tools and transformation initiatives in supply chain
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
