We are seeking a motivated and skilled Development Engineer to join our team and support the design and development of hydraulic systems for the pitch system in our wind turbines. The ideal candidate should possess a good understanding of hydraulic system design principles and practical experience in applying these principles to real-world engineering problems. The candidate will work closely with the whole R&D team to design, develop, test and debug hydraulic pitch systems.


Responsibilities

  • Design and development of hydraulic systems for pitch systems in wind turbines based on requirements and technical specifications
  • Assist in the development of detailed engineering designs, models, and drawings using CAD software
  • Conduct dynamic analysis and simulation of hydraulics using MATLAB/Simulink or Python.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and service to ensure advanced product development and launch
  • Participate in prototype testing and analysis to evaluate product performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Provide technical support to service teams and assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving

Qualifications

  • Master or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Control Engineering or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in the design and development of hydraulic systems, preferably for wind turbine pitch systems
  • Good Business and Value chain understanding
  • Knowledge of system engineering tools like DFMEA, HSE assessments, requirement specifications, etc
  • Have a solid understanding of mechanical systems

Competencies

  • Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink
  • Experience with CAD tools such as Creo
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to work efficiently and as part of a team
