Finance SSC > Global Travel Expense > Global Travel and Expense AME and MED


Responsibilities

  • Maintain a working knowledge of the end-to-end process of the Travel and Expense process to efficiently close items and properly address issues as they may arise

  • Adherence, performance, and documentation of related Controls (if any) and ensure that these are being done with utmost quality at a prescribed timing

  • Perform accrual accounting and other month-end activities (as necessary) ensuring data integrity

  • Participate in further improvement and optimization of Travel and Expense processes, procedures in Finance and Accounting

  • Execute Travel and Expense processing fully by the defined and agreed Vestas Standard Operating Procedures

  • Proactively engage and collaborate with Regional Finance, Treasury, Global Sourcing, and other business stakeholders, to solve operational issues and problems with speed and quality.

  • Handle higher-level concerns, and complex tasks such as detailed reporting, data presentation, and analysis

  • Prepares daily and monthly reports and accompanying schedules and specifications

  • Performed analytical review to ensure achievement of KPIs and PPIs for the specific function assigned

  • Assists in developing training plans and knowledge sharing with team members


Qualifications

  • BS Accountancy or a graduate of any business course

  • Preferably with experience on Travel & Expense process and Reporting

  • Working with SAP Concur experience

  • With at least 6 months to 2 years working experience in the same field

  • With BPO/Shared Service experience


Competencies

  • Above average English communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Experience in the end-to-end AP process

  • Analytical and strategic problem-solving skills.

  • Exposure to ERP platforms - SAP preferred

  • Adept in data presentation and analysis

  • Innovative communication skills - able to interact with multiple stakeholders both internal and external

  • Willingness to learn different systems and take on other tasks as may be assigned

  • Great sense of urgency and ability to step up whenever the need arises

  • Good work ethic and exemplary self-leadership skills

  • Advanced multi-tasking capabilities; able to work in a target-oriented and busy environment

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications particularly Microsoft Excel

  • Flexibility and willingness to work on holidays as needed and on any shift as maybe assigned.

  • Independent and can work with minimal supervision.

  • With positive behavior and attitude

  • Showcases professionalism and is willing to become a role model to the more junior staff
