Software Eng Internal Tools

The Platform SW & Internal Tools group is a part of Vestas Power Solutions and we are responsible for delivering the platform software and internal tools used in the development process and service operations worldwide. As an R&D QA Engineer, you will join the work on new turbine platforms, improvement projects, or specific tools projects.

Responsibilities

Be responsible for the development and maintenance of the automated framework to perform functional tests of our products like VestasOnline Toolkit(R) and other networking tools.

• Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating quality testing activities
• Delivering timely and detailed reports of testing activities
• Be engaged during the functional and software requirements definition
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Be a good contributor to the continuous improvement of our processes and tools

Qualifications

You have:

• MSc in Computer-science, Electrical Engineering, or similar from an accredited University
• +2 years of working experience working with software development
• +2 years of proven work experience in software quality assurance
• Efficient knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools

You should have:

• Experience with complex desktop applications
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting

You may have:

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience with performance or security testing
