Responsibilities
You shall be accountable to support the category or regional procurement teams in the end-to-end purchasing process which covers requirement definition, supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting, as well as all other relevant steps within the entire process.

• Assist the sourcing responsible in sourcing and conducting RFx with agreed vendors.

• Participate in selection, qualification, negotiation and contracting with suppliers within the category.

• Execute risk assessments of suppliers, using the standard risk tools

• Where agreed with the direct manager, drive tenders or lead in the development of supply agreements such as non-disclosure agreements, purchasing agreements, framework agreements, etc.

• Support the category/regional procurement teams with master data maintenance - secure that missing master data is enriched (info records, source lists, quota arrangements, and vendor master). This may also include collation of documents such as Safety Data Sheets, CE declaration of conformity certificates, etc.

• Work across different business units within Vestas and provide input to and implementation of the category/regional procurement strategies

• Create continuous improvement programs internally and at the suppliers with a special focus on cost-saving initiatives, supplier optimization and component standardization.

• Ensure adherence to KPI's set by Global Sourcing regarding safety, quality, cost, delivery, innovation and sustainability. May perform deep-dive analysis to ensure improvement on the KPIs.

• Perform data analysis on tenders, spend visibility, and other relevant procurement analytics activities.

  
  

Qualifications

• Preferably an Engineering graduate or relevant business degree.

• With 0-3 years of experience in Supply Chain and Procurement functions

• Experience with selection, qualification, negotiation and contracting with suppliers for instance

• Hands-on experience in contract negotiation is highly preferred

• High experience in negotiating with global suppliers is highly preferred

• Experience in SAP or Ariba P2P process, Service Now for instance

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Great English written and verbal communication skills and ability to speak with conviction

• Highly self-motivated, efficient work ethic, keen attention to detail, and exceptional customer service orientation

• Great stakeholder management and innovative communication skills at all levels

• Willing to work on a hybrid setup
