Infrastructure Operations Analyst

- Increased reaction patterns/models and decreased risks exposure handling Incidents and events
- Faster onboarding of new tools and processes by better use of automation
- Assist smaller DevOps/Application teams covering 24/7 monitoring and basic troubleshooting
- Monitoring infrastructure components on-premise and in the cloud
- Resolution of technical incidents and problems, monitoring and change capacity
- Hands-on operational role with responsibility for routine tasks and operational standards

Responsibilities
- Performing daily system activities jointly with a team provides 24/7 operational services
- 2nd level support for issues related to infrastructure including IaaS and PaaS components
- Performs system checks and basic maintenance plans
- Troubleshoot system operating problems and determine the cause of system interruptions
- Assist in coordination and resolution of problems
- Windows or Linux Operative System competence and monthly patching activities
- Document procedures
- Eventually, Assist DevOps/Application Teams in creating and handling monitoring and troubleshooting tasks
Qualifications
- Experience in Microsoft Azure
- Experience with remote Server operation in a hybrid setup
- Experience in general Operating System operation, Windows, Redhat, Suse, etc. for physical and virtual workloads, both on-premises and in a Cloud scenario
- Experience with Core Database Platform Services, primarily MSSQL Experience Knowledge in PostgreSQL, MariaDB, or Oracle is beneficial
- Good understanding of Microsoft SQL Server (to ver. SQL Server 2019) Database administration and maintenance of production systems
- Experiences in working with Service-now and Azure DevOps
- Azure Administration skills (PaaS and IaaS)
- Documentation and administration skills
Competencies
- Extensive experience in monitoring and troubleshooting knowledge in Incident Management and Problem Management
- Experience in agile delivery methods (SAFe, KANBAN, DevOps, etc.)
- Confident in making decisions and engaging with other teams to manage dependencies
- Able to document and operate complicated solutions in a structured and simple manner
- Automation mindset
- Confident in engaging with other teams in joint troubleshooting
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
- Eager to learn and develop new skills
