Head of Microsoft Delivery

You will join our new Vestas IT/OT Competency Center in Manila. We are accountable for providing competencies, services and support for our global Vestas Digital Solutions organization.

Reporting to the Head of the IT/OT Competency Center, you will be accountable for the overall deliveries of Microsoft solutions operated for the company worldwide, working together with the IT/OT management team to support the Digital transformation that Vestas is going through.

You will have the opportunity to work in a complex environment in an instrumental role to achieve your goals in the journey that Vestas Digital Solutions is on.

Responsibilities

• Direct the design and orchestration of our Microsoft Competency center to secure seamless interfaces across teams and sites leveraging our matrix organization, providing scalable Microsoft solutions with an optimum global footprint
• Blueprint the Microsoft Competency center operating model to respond to our customers' demand (business portfolio owners, IT business partners, Product leads, enterprise architects, etc) at higher quality with faster time to market and at lower costs, catering to new ways of working (Digital, Agile, DevOps...)
• Continuously evolve the Microsoft team dynamics according to our global roadmap with a focus on unleashing more value from our Digital investments for both our internal and external customers
• Build the bridge between Microsoft technology and both the traditional IT/OT and business-focused digital services, in a hybrid cross-functional set-up (offshore/nearshore/onshore), building efficient relationships with Business teams
• Be knowledgeable of and operate Microsoft projects methodologies to support implementations and rollouts: full deployment cycles from business requirement gathering and blueprinting, coordination, proof of concepts, solution configurations, functional specifications, incident management, testing practice, training and documentation management
• Deliver communications to promote the Microsoft Competency center
• Contribute to internal and external audits when needed
• Supervise our Microsoft suppliers and partners ecosystem, establishing the best set-up to scale up when needed maximizing collaboration and engagement across. Create and negotiate statements of work, develop programs planning and milestones creation
• Actively support the IT strategic goals by taking part and handling business cases, ROI scenarios, and risk assessments of our Microsoft solutions journey
• Complete understanding of the organization's business

Qualifications
To achieve your goals with the above responsibilities, we envision that you hold a relevant master's degree (IT, Organizational Management, or similar) combined with the following:

• Above 6 years of experience in supervising Microsoft global teams (Delivery centers, Shared Services centers, Programs/projects implementation rollouts and support, Product deliveries...)
• Experience with Microsoft hybrid platforms/infrastructure. Used to supervise different cloud models (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, on-prem)
• Experience with migrations to cloud environments based on Azure
• Experience deploying Kubernetes services
• Knowledge and experience in Microsoft-based products, services, and integrations (selection for your reference): Azure cloud & related services, Data lake, Power BI, Windows, Defender / Endpoint manager, Sharepoint, Teams, Office - 365 packages (inc. for mobile devices), Edge, Yammer, Whiteboard, etc.
• Cross-cultural understanding (DK, IN, PH...)
• Customer focus
