You will join our Vestas IT/OT Services team in Manila. We are accountable for providing IT competencies, services, and support for our Global IT organization.
This position will direct and coordinate our global vision to bring our related IT and OT solutions delivery support teams across the value chain towards one simplified and standardized management, interacting with key stakeholders in Global IT and beyond to optimize the run of our deliveries and solutions, its operations, compliance, adherence to governance and the related KPI´s to ensure quality, safeguarding the existing business solutions. Responsibilities
We are on a journey to transform our Digital capabilities across the different functions in our value chain, aiming for one simplified and orchestrated way to operate them. We aim to reduce variance and leverage synergies across the different teams in our value chain delivering User IT/OT Support services and providing attractive career development and growth options. Within this context, key attributes:
- Alignment of the strategic vision for the capability across Vestas, its organizational interfaces with other IT capabilities, and the ability to set the long-term direction of the team
- Development skills: motivation to collaborate with other teams across the value chain to synergize and optimize our global IT Customer service footprint, governance and KPIs, directing the transformation towards a simplified and scalable set-up
- Ability to think critically about systems and to consistently adjust as needed based on business priorities and the company's overall best interests and direction.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to be influential and persuasive with stakeholders.
- Complete understanding of the organization’s business.
- Team-oriented person, silos breaker
In addition, the role is expected to provide the following output:
- Define and update the most relevant KPIs to be tracked depending on business strategy & directions
- Supervise the User IT/OT Support team careers development and contribute to defining paths from the support function to other IT services and the configure/build layer, adding the technology lense into the team in close collaboration with the technology Leads
- Promote the adoption of best practices related to the User IT/OT Support function
Qualifications
To achieve your goals with the above responsibilities, we envision that you hold a relevant degree (IT, Technology, Engineering, Science, Business Organization or similar) combined with the following:
- Above 5 years of experience from similar global position(s)
- ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, Amazon Connect, Zendesk..)
- Background in basic support for key Value Chain systems (ERPs, Financial Systems, BW, Quality systems, CRM, Operational Technology, IoT…) either on the functional side or the technical side is a major plus
- Experience with global reach companies
- Deep understanding of IT support strategy, tactics, and processes
- ITIL knowledge and certification
- Cross-cultural understanding is being used to work with stakeholders and IT Partners from different cultures and backgrounds
