Responsibilities

  • Ensure high integrity in our numbers by having accurate figures in the factory report and a high-quality budget based on well-documented assumptions

  • Ensure that there is solid accuracy and stability in our forecast where the underlying business drivers explain all changes and deviations

  • A value-adding Business Partner to COO Area and ensure fact-based root cause-driven performance reporting.

  • Perform ad-hoc reports based on business needs

  • Implement the relevant controlling tasks fully in accordance with the defined and agreed Vestas Financial Guidelines; and make sure controls and applicable compliance requirements are in place.

  • Ensure timely update/s of Process Documentation (SOP)

  • Perform Controls and Compliance activities

  • Identify, suggest, and implement improvement on current tasks, and participate in Global optimization projects

  • Effectively engage and collaborate with relevant colleagues and business stakeholders to solve operational issues and problems with speed and quality. Propose adjustments as necessary


Qualifications

  • Graduate of BS Accountancy or Management Accounting or any Finance or Business-related courses

  • 5-7 years of experience in general accounting background for instance controlling and reporting function role or from a relevant role

  • Exposure to BPO / Shared service environment

  • Experience in working with multicultural stakeholders

  • With knowledge of using ERP (SAP) systems

  • Significant innovative and presentation skills

  • Business Partnering experience is needed


Competencies

  • High-level experience in (1) Controlling Actual Financials (2) Forecasting or Budgeting

  • With a high level and specific knowledge of Accounting concepts and innovative solid skills relevant in financial analysis

  • Ability in developing financial projections and building financial models

  • Efficient documentation and process mapping experience

  • A professional having a "can do" attitude; a strategic person in a complex, complex and an innovative environment

  • Knowledge of using ERP Systems. Experience in SAP and SAP-BI is required

  • Should be an advanced-level MS Office user. Macros are an added advantage

  • Great in presentation, communication, stakeholder management, and business partners, including communicating numbers and data to non-financial people
