Logistics Coordinator

Our department manages all transportation needs for the Service and Tools division, ensuring critical parts, tools, and equipment reach technicians and sites on time. We partner exclusively with third-party carriers to coordinate shipments across modes, balancing cost efficiency with reliability. With a focus on precision, problem-solving, and service continuity, our team plays a vital role in keeping wind turbines maintained and operational for customers across the region.

Responsibilities:

• Use logistics software and systems to manage data and track systems

• Support end-to-end logistics; including procurement, production, sales, service, decommissioning, and reverse logistics i.e., returns, recalls, repair, repacking, and recycling

• Schedule and track inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery

• Provide feedback on how to optimize logistic procedures to reduce cost and improve efficiency

• Maintain accurate records of logistic activities, including shipping documents, invoices, and inventory logs

• Prepare reports on logistic performance and suggest improvements

• Respond to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner

• Reviewing, preparing, and routing purchase requisitions

• Assist with cycle counting

• Utilize required equipment to move material throughout the warehouse

• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policy

• Support in achieving KPI's such as on-time delivery, transportation costs, and inventory

• Other duties assigned

Qualifications

• Beginner to Intermediate Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)

• Meet defined KPI's to ensure production goals are met

• Regular and reliable attendance

• Ability to interact frequently with others in a professional, courteous manner

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

• Ability to meet tight deadlines

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Competencies:

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent

• 1 - 3 years of related experience in customer service, logistics, or supply chain preferred

• Experience in a globally diverse supply chain environment

• Awareness of logistics and inventory software (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)
