MED Regional Procurement Organization (RPO) is responsible for overseeing MED (South Europe, Middle East and Africa) Vestas' spending with external suppliers. With a matrix organization, with global and regional roles, the RPO ensures the deployment of common strategy and processes with same overall outcomes across all Vestas regions.You will report to the Head of MED Service Procurement, the full team is working cross-functionally and is responsible for managing all Procurement activities related to Service business. We are looking for a factory MRO and Tail Spend. purchaser to join the team.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement MED procurement strategy for factory MRO and tail spend

  • Handle the procurement process for the category in MED region

  • Secure that cost reduction targets are achieved through cost out projects

  • Perform continuous stakeholder management

  • Work in collaboration with the team members in MED, where we have 2 factories; 1 in Italy and 1 in Spain


Qualifications:

  • We are looking for an efficient procurement professional, ideally with a proven history of a similar category or working as a purchaser/buyer in a factory.

  • Bachelor/diploma or Master's degree in the field of (or related to) Supply Chain Management (either Business, Admin, SC or Engineering) is required.

  • Experience of 3 years in Procurement.

  • Highly proficient in English written and verbally. Ideally the candidate will speak Spanish and Italian.
