If you have ever wondered how your skillsets can be a part of the climate solution and grow your career- Covento is for you. We need people that are willing to roll up their sleeves, creative problem solve, and bring the efficiencies and simplicities of technology to a space that is long overdue for it.
For too long the ordering and procurement process within the renewable energy space has been fragmented and lack transparency. At Covento (by Vestas), we aim to change that. Our goal: a place where all buyers in the renewable space (field engineers, procurement professionals, O&M professionals, etc), can find everything from consumables to highly technical parts and services across multiple sellers. We know this will be hard. But believe if we can turn the cumbersome into transparent, it will result in improved economics and Covento can contribute to move the needle in solving our climate crisis.
Responsibilities
The Data Warehouse Developer will be responsible of defining and implementing the data architecture strategy, as well as its related ETL processes, supporting two key business processes at Covento:
- Product (parts of wind turbines) database: Using already existing knowledge on different data sources and mapping between them, the data warehouse developer will implement a first version of the database, integrating data from those sources and connecting the database to the Covento systems via API and ETL processes, ensuring data security and integrity.
- Reporting and business intelligence: The data warehouse developer will analyze the existing buckets of data owned by Covento (transactional, behavioral, payment, delivery, user and support data) and define and implement the most efficient and effective architecture to bring together that data via API and ETL processes, making it available for the Covento team in data visualization tools.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate or graduate MSc in data analytics / data architecture or related fields
- Proficient knowledge of data architecture models, ETL processes and APIs for data integration between data warehouses and other systems
