UN JOUR DANS LA VIE:
Dans ce poste, vous utiliserez vos compétences et votre expérience pour effectuer un service planifié, une analyse/évaluation des pannes et des travaux potentiels sur les gros composants ou les pales des éoliennes. Au cours d'une journée type, vous travaillerez en hauteur et dans des espaces confinés, tout en étant exposé aux intempéries. Sur ce site près de Trois Pistoles, QC, vous aurez généralement des quarts de travail 5 jours par semaine à 8-10 heures par jour. Vous aurez également une rotation de garde pour les heures de congé (week-end). L'équipe ici travaille normalement en équipes de 2 à 3 et grimpera généralement sur 1 à 2 turbines par jour et voyagera au moins 25 % par an. - Vous aurez un diplôme d'études secondaires ou l'équivalent et apporterez au moins un an d'expérience en énergie éolienne ou un certificat d'électricien éolien ou industriel avec 2-3 ans d'expérience dans un environnement industriel lourd.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:
In this position, you will use your skills and experience to perform planned service, fault analysis/assessment and potential work on large components or wind turbine blades. On a typical day, you will work at heights and in confined spaces, while being exposed to the elements. At this site near Trois Pistoles, QC, you will generally work shifts 5 days a week at 8-10 hours a day. You will also have on-call rotation for off hours (weekends). The crew here normally work in shifts of 2-3 and will typically climb 1-2 turbines per day and travel at least 25% per year. This site has great opportunities to grow within Vestas.
MORE ABOUT YOU:
- You will need a security mindset.
- Your positive attitude will contribute to your ability to work in a team, while being motivated and taking initiative in daily tasks.
- You can identify solutions during elimination processes.
- You will have a high school diploma or equivalent and bring at least one year of wind energy experience or a wind or industrial electrician certificate with 2-3 years of experience in a heavy industrial environment.
