Construction Purchaser
The Regional Procurement Office (RPO) Mediterranean is responsible for all Procurement activities related to Southern Europe, Turkey, Middle East, Africa and Balkans. The RPO consists of three sub departments Strategic Purchasing, Procurement Excellence and Supplier Quality & Development. The Strategic Purchasing department is structured in focused teams procuring goods and services for our Turbines and our Construction- and Service Business. Furthermore, we have established market specific teams to accommodate special market requirements.
The Purchaser will be responsible for sourcing and procuring "Construction and Transport Services" for our Wind Turbines components, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective assembly of products. This role will also involve launching and managing Requests for Quotation (RFQs) in a regular basis, to obtain competitive bids, aligned with the company's strategic objectives and policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, distribute, and manage Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to solicit competitive bids from suppliers for various goods and services, with the right timing, cost and quality
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers who can provide the best quality goods and services at the most competitive prices
- Negotiate terms, conditions, and prices with suppliers to ensure favorable agreements and long-term partnerships
- Build and maintain solid relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliability, quality, and timely deliveries
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Work closely with other departments to align procurement activities with overall company goals
- Bachelor's degree and min 3 years' experience in Procurement, especially in Construction and Transport Procurement environment
- Solid foundation within procurement workspace as a Purchaser (Handling RFQ Processes and Contract negotiations)
- Having experience in Construction and Logistic environment
- It is beneficial to have Ariba Sourcing module knowledge
- Fluent in English, all documents and discussions will be in English language
- Accountable, structured and collaborative person

- Stakeholder management skills, being able to coordinate many different stakeholders with various profiles, cultures and demands
