Construction Onshore is responsible for installing, commissioning, and finally hand-over wind farms to our customers. Working closely with the clients and other stakeholders is a key parameter to ensure this happens safely, cost-efficiently, and with a high-quality standard.
The Operation Concept & Site Engineering team within the Bid Management department is responsible for the road and hardstand design standards, maintaining the specification and ensuring risk-mitigated installation concepts for the region of Northern & Central Europe (including East Europe). The team of Site and Civil Engineers supports the Sales- and Bid Management team and is working in close contact with our clients.

Responsibilities
As Road & Site Expert (m/f/d), you will support our Sales team and our clients to develop the most optimal site layouts in relation to safety, environmental requirements, risk mitigation, and economics. Your tasks will include:

• Execution of Site Assessments/ Site checks (remote and on-site) based on defined standards for site conditions
• Supporting the client and the bid manager in the design of the wind farm infrastructure
• Development of erection concepts based on defined standards and individual site layout
• Technical evaluation and definition of potential financial impact which might occur during the project execution in regard to the site conditions and the individual site layout
• Support development projects like new turbine types, crane technologies, etc.

Qualifications

• Degree in an Engineering discipline or graduated in a technical apprenticeship with proven engineering skills
• Extensive experience with organising complex construction sites in the onshore wind energy industry
• Qualified expertise in the handling of heavy components with actual transport and especially crane technology
• Qualified skills in using MS Office + AutoCAD
• Qualified verbal and written communication skills in English and German
• Driver license class B

Please be aware that the position can be assigned across Germany, not only in Hamburg.
