The Service Global Operating Model Governance & Transformation team is a brand-new function established to ensure our business globally coherently operates to the best possible standards and improvements are implemented. Our department owns and directs the governance of our Global Service Operating Model (GOM); meaning we safeguard a standardized, digitalized, and industrialized way of working across Vestas Service. We are also the centre of competence for driving changes to it and are the go-to team for everyone who has a role in implementing changes and transforming the Service organization. We create full transparency of our GOM and its elements to the organization, govern that they are developed in line with our strategy and towards our Target Operating Model. To achieve that we collaborate cross functionally with senior stakeholder from around the globe and in close alignment as trusted advisors to our global Service Management Team. Our direct team colleagues are the Process team who we spar with on an ongoing basis. Together, we ensure effective adoption of corporate strategies by assessing change needs and impact and collaborating with global and regional management teams towards effectively and professionally implementing the needed transformations.
Your role will be to assess globally that the elements of our Global Operating Model are understood and implemented efficiently and to ensure the gap analysis and gap closing process.


Responsibilities

  • Set-up assessment framework and process for relevant GOM elements
  • Drive understanding of benefits, relevance, and reasoning of assessments with stakeholders
  • Conduct assessments in liaison with support assessors from Central as well as Regions
  • Ensure transparency of findings towards all stakeholders
  • Manage follow-up on findings and actions

All of that is key to enable us to harvest the benefits of the significant growth journey our Service business is on


Qualifications

  • Hold a Master or equivalent in e.g., Business Administration (other areas welcome as well)
  • Want to set-up and own assessment structures around different GOM elements (Organisation, Processes, Data, System etc.)
  • Can develop structured and comprehensive reports to enable action definition
  • Have experience within business improvement and change management
  • Demonstrate problem-solving and ability to develop solutions
  • Have professional verbal and written English communication and influencing skills.
  • Thrive by working in multinational and cross functional teams

Additional information
Location: you will be based in one of our offices from Hamburg, Germany, or Aarhus/Copenhagen Denmark. For this position you can expect up to 30 days of travel per year.
