As a Field Trainer, you will be part of the Service Organization in Vestas Service Offshore NCE, anchored in the Offshore Service Cluster 1 DK & DE, where we are currently looking for Field Trainers for the new V236-15MW Turbines Offshore and Onshore. You will during the first year gain experience by being part of the first builds and tests of the V236's Nacelles in our Nacelle Assembly at Lindø in Denmark, additionally join the Prototype Testing Facility in Østerild + be part of the Installation of another Test Turbine to be installed at the Vest Coast in Denmark in Early 2024. You will undergo Vestas Technical Training in our Training Facilities in Denmark + Field Training in the Field with your colleagues by being some of the first Lead Technicians/ Field Trainers working on this new platform. After the first Years in Denmark, you are expected to travel to the first commercial Projects in Germany, being the Field Trainer and coaching your colleagues in Operating Wind Turbines in the Field.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for training and coaching your colleagues in how to operate the new game changer from Vestas the V236-15MW Turbines
  • Compliance with Vestas Health and Safety Management system and DK Health, Safety & Environmental legislation
  • The overall power performance of the site
  • Ensuring smooth daily operation
  • Assisting the implementation of new procedures/processes to the site

Qualifications

  • Completed electrical or mechanical degree from a technical school/college/university i.e. Marine Engineer or similar
  • Relevant professional electrical or mechanical experience such as Field Trainer, Lead Supervisor, Service Technician, Commissioning Supervisor from Wind Industry or similar
  • Extensive skills in speaking, reading, and writing English
  • Good IT knowledge and familiar with MS Office
  • Full and valid driving license

Additional information


You will be working in shift patterns on a yearly average of 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off 12 hours a day. There could though be other shift patterns during the introduction year while gaining the V236 experience by assembling the Nacelles in our Factories, Prototype Testing, and Test Turbines Operation in the northern part of Denmark.
