The dispatching team is a new team located in Dublin and consists of dispatchers of varying levels of experience. The dispatching team operates in a busy and ever-changing environment, and the team plays an integral part in our service business, affecting the efficiency and commercial impact of our activities across Great Britain and Ireland.


Responsibilities


  • Supervising and developing the team
  • Effectively supervise the KPIs around weekly and monthly planning targets, whilst focusing on future performance, growth, and potential improvement opportunities within the team and business
  • Working alongside the Operations and Customer Manager Team
  • Standardise processes within the team, ensuring a clear and consistent interaction both internally and externally
  • Participate in developing the strategy for Planning and in turn deliver on the set strategy in line with business requirements.


Qualifications


  • Degree qualified, ideally Masters-level
  • Experience in a similar leadership role with a proven ability to develop teams and organisational results
  • Aspiration and motivation for achievement, with a high work ethic to guide and achieve results
  • Project management, performance improvement and communication skills
  • Experience in change management
  • Proficiency with the entire Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, and experience with SAP or SalesForce

  • Good at networking and stakeholder management, with an understanding of their various requirements as well as different cultures

Additional Information


This is a Monday to Friday working schedule. Candidates will have to be based in Dublin.

This role will also include some travel across UK, IE and some part of Europe. This will be up to a maximum of 30 days per year.
