Vestas Northern Europe A/S > Frontend Engineering & Technology > Blade Engineering & Support

Blade Engineering NCE is a department focused on providing technical support for sales and service in North and Central Europe (NCE). The department supports all three pillars of Vestas service: Onshore, Offshore and Multibrand (3rd party turbines).

Responsibilities

  • Technical support (70%):
  • Assess severity of blade damages and implement mitigation actions to ensure safe and reliable operation of blades under service in Vestas.
  • Provide technical support to service sales and service contract managers, including direct customer support.
  • Conduct on-site assessment of blade damages and report findings internally and externally.
  • Department Process Support and Documentation (30%):
  • Maintain the department process landscape.
  • Maintain repositories and templates used in the department.

Qualifications

  • Engineering background (B.Sc. or higher) - the role is intended as an entry-level position.
  • Good technical understanding of blade technology and repair methods for resin-based products.
  • Experience in basic process documentation as well as communicating with customers.
  • Strong stakeholder management and an aspiration to develop in a new role.
  • Ability to convey complex problems in a pragmatic and accessible manner.
  • Good overview and planning skills.
