Head of Transport Bid Management
Manufacturing and Global Procurement > COO NCE > Regional Supply Chain & Transport NCE
You will be part of a highly committed team, optimizing transport and vessel operation for Wind Turbine projects for Vestas. The department is responsible for calculating budgets, optimizing transport portfolio, capacity planning and utilization of Vessels for the NCE region.
Responsibilities
- Heading Transport Bid Management NCE
- Leadership and Development of your team
- Build solid E2E Transport Plans and Budgets to Sales Projects for our business to deliver
- Ensure NCE Transport Budgets comply with Vestas requirements
- Stakeholder Management; Communicate and align transport plans with production, transport execution/planning, construction, and sales
- Ensure transparency of cost and risk factors for Sales Projects related to Transport
- Identify and execute process optimization for our continuous development
Qualifications
- People Leadership, Transport & Supply Chain experience from a Global logistics or Manufacturing company
- Experience leading a team on multiple locations is a plus
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain management, Finance, Business Operations or similar with quotation and budgeting experience (minimum 5 years)
- Experience working with a complex supply chain in a Global environment
- Experience with risk analysis and assessment
- Good English skills (both written and oral)
- Hands-on approach to problems "You always know the status in your team"
- Experience working in an international and innovative environment

Additional information
Your work location will be at Vestas office in Aarhus or Copenhagen, DK, Hamburg, DE or Malmö, SE. Up to 20 travel days/year is expected.
