Vestas is looking for a Financial Controller that will take lead on the Annual Reports to the Danish Business Authorities for the Danish legal entities in Vestas.
CFO>Group Finance>Reporting & Compliance>Group Reporting
VWS Reporting & Compliance is responsible for the financial reporting of Vestas Wind System A/S (Parent Company), Vestas Manufacturing A/S and Danish Holding companies covering Group Functions, Controlling, and Reporting of Treasury operations, Technology, and IT. We work closely with our Group Reporting, Group IFRS, Global Tax and Global Finance Shared Service Center in Manila in achieving accuracy and compliance with regards to our financial processes.
Responsibilities
- Timely and accurate submission of Annual Reports to the Danish Business Authorities including coordination and support of audit requests
- Ensuring timely and efficient closing process and submission of Monthly and Annual Reporting Packages for the Danish Entities
- Strict adherence to Group financial processes, compliance rules/policies and Vestas’ financial guidelines
- Development of Financial controlling and processes and assist in the development of Financial Systems and Controls
- Day-to-day interaction with overseas financial shared service centrer to resolve overall queries and ensure improved operation across finance processes
- Participate in cross functional projects and initiatives and drive improvement in the financial reporting across functions
- Ensure pro-active engagement with various stakeholders securing a smooth closing process and insights into the financials and business drivers
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of controlling experience in a large international company or experience from an international auditing business
- Experience with statutory filing, Danish GAAP, and hands-on experience with CaseWare would be preferable
- Strong accounting and performance reporting insight
- Experience with group closing and reporting process from financial controlling to communication of financial performance to senior stakeholders
- Fluent in English verbally and written
- Relevant educational background within Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
