Global Commercial Transactional, within the Global Service Business Unit is working across the aftermarket sales(transactional) business areas of the Service business. In close cooperation with global functions and service regions across the globe we are implementing the commercial transactional strategy and day-to-day improvements supporting our sales regions fulfilling Vestas´ "Profitable Growth" strategy.

The team is responsible for gathering and sharing best practice, implementing global improvement initiatives across the value chain and sales regions, subsequently ensuring that the transactional business is operated as efficiently as possible. Transactional business performance is likewise globally tracked across financial, processes and systems ensuring that we deliver continues improvement agendas across regions and functions.


Responsibilities


The role reports directly to Head of Global Transactional Commercial Enablement. As a Lead Professional, you will develop and facilitate commercial improvement initiatives across a complex global matrix organization . You will work closely with SMEs from other functional areas such as supply chain, procurement, pricing & costing, finance, and product management, ensuring that process and operations are optimized.
  • The position is central in the service business thus previous experience with the industry is beneficial but not a prerequisite
  • Cooperate with subject matter experts and stakeholders driving cross functional and cross regional improvement initiatives
  • Continuous development of our Commercial Product Segmentation, ensure maintenance and continuous improvement of the segmentations
  • Integrate our Product segmentation into Performance reports to drive improvement conversations across regions' sales performance
  • Develop and analyze performance tools and views in reporting systems (SAP and SalesForce), defining potential improvement areas via data analysis
  • Establish commercial intelligence capabilities in collaboration with the global and regional service sales organizations
  • Operate in the space between global and regional management aligning agendas and ensuring that business intelligence turns into business decisions

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience within project-, performance - or supply chain management
  • Wind industry experience is a benefit but not a prerequisite
  • Familiar with Salesforce, BI is beneficial
  • Experience from a global corporation, working in teams with diverse professional, cultural and geographically located colleagues
  • Technical mindset, ability to "connect the dots" and "see the solution"
  • Good communication skills and able to bring people together and work in the same direction

  • Good communication and presentation skills. Able to communicate and collaborate across professions, cultures and with all professional levels
  • Proven stakeholder management experience
  • Sharp technology aptitude, general technical knowledge, while having the curiosity in the innovation space
