Supply chain management supports direct material buying, transportation, production planning, CAPEX buying & logistics coordination and ensures to deliver the required materials on time in full, at a minimal cost to all global Vestas factories, sites and wind farms.

Department's goal is to achieve 100% timely deliverables to all stakeholders along with process initiatives. This department is operating globally, so an international experience comes with the job. We are looking for skilled personals who are well structured, well organized and ready to work in an international Environment with many cultural differences. You need to be able to handle large amount of data, coordinating with various stake holders.


Responsibilities

  • To be a subject matter expert in direct buying and transport management to coordinate with internal and external stake holders for production material requirement fulfilment

  • To identify potential risks and work on timely mitigations with stake holders

  • To provide proactive early warning signals for all non-mitigated risks

  • Ensure adherence to key performance indicators (delivery and cost)

  • Facilitate governance and action plan with stake holders

  • Ensure effective RCA and CAPA implementation for operational issues

  • Coordinate plan changes between supply chain and factories and ensure optimal inventory

  • Identify opportunities for standardization and improve buying and transport KPIs

  • Coordinate with project team and factories for new product introductions for timely fulfilment



Qualifications

  • Any graduation, preferably certification in supply chain management

  • 8-10 yrs of experience as a transport coordination or Logistics professional

  • Good to have 6 sigma green belt

  • Expertise with SAP ERP MM/TM modules

  • Good written and verbal communication skills and able to speak with conviction

  • Highly self-motivated, efficient work ethic, keen attention to details and appropriate customer service orientation

  • Project management experience in supply chain is preferrable

  • Innovative mind set to explore potential opportunities & propose changes within sphere of influence and drive towards process standardization

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Very high level of knowledge on supply chain process

  • Stake holder management, Project management, Time management, Risk handling and crisis management

  • Prioritization and problem solving ability

  • Good leadership with expert coordination skills

  • Assertive communication and interpersonal negotiation skills

  • Being innovative and able to deliver improvements and standardizations

  • Perceptive and cooperative
