At Vestas, as part of our ongoing transformation and to continuously optimize our processes we have created this new and specialized role to optimize Resource Requirements and Time Registration. This is an APC (Asia Pacific) role and will focus on constant optimization of Resource levels across APC, and for maintaining Time Registration guidelines. You will own the APC roadmap for these areas and be a key contributor for constant opportunities to optimize and enhance our existing processes.
Responsibilities
Establish 12MR Resource forecast for APC, in conjunction with multiple stakeholders like Capacity Planning, Master Schedulers, Resource Pool Managers, Operational Readiness, GOS for all resource types (Vestas Technicians, Subcontractors, Travel Technicians etc.) across all sub-regions
Recommend best and cost-effective model at APC levels inclusive of Tech mobility across sub-regions i.e., lending and borrowing Techs
Establish Governance process for tracking Subcontractor usage and report the Forecast Vs Actual monthly
Report monthly, inclusive of root cause analysis and recommendations for major deviations
Governance of Vestas Time Registration guidelines across APC
Governance of Subcontractors Time registrations and aligned with Direct Costs
On a monthly basis report on Time Registration Ratio and recommend actions to improve
Qualifications
Relevant core 5-8 years' Experience in Supply or Demand Planning with Project / program management skills
Intermediate to advanced Excel and PowerBI skills
SAP knowledge
Competencies
Previous knowledge and experience with Resource Planning
Demonstrate effective communication to all levels of the business
Professional stakeholder management skills
Ability to work with limited supervision with frequent changes in priority
Demonstrate a high degree of analytics proficiency and ability to evaluate numerical data and identify trends
Good system and business understanding
