The Control Hardware Technical Management consist of a group of highly skilled and experienced functional leads who work across Projects and Technologies. The department is part of the Control Hardware organization which are delivering the turbine Hardware infrastructure including Electronics, Cables, Sensors, Panels and Power supplies. We have a high focus on continuous improvements and seeks to optimize the way we work. The department has a mix of Technology development and Project execution.

Responsibilities

• Create and overview of module product cost insights and baselines in collaboration with Finance costing

• Facilitate Value creation / cost out idea campaigns, should cost analysis and etc, across departments and Value chain

• An always up-to-date overview of cost-out idea pipeline maintained in database

• An up-to-date overview of historical cost-out achievements from ideas list

• Engage with Product Design Owners to understand schedule of turbine variant release and cost vs configuration impact evaluation

• Engage with Category Management Teams to identify list of ideas and receive commitment to procure prioritized ideas

• Engage with People managers, Tech Leads and Project managers to ensure execution

• Engage with design teams/ functional leaders on maturing the ideas (technical feasibility

• Engage with project technical leads to transfer cost-out items to become implementation project scope

  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's / Master's in Electrical / Similar engineering

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including product cost engineering

• An advantage if able to navigate in tools like SAP

• Used to work according to internal procedures for product development

• Experience in stakeholder management spanning full value chain

• Solid language skills (verbal and written) in English are required
