At Vestas, Service Supply chain Global Ops, we are constantly optimizing the service supply chain in order to deliver on time to our customers, with optimal inventory levels. It is an ever-developing task in a progressive environment. Responsible for operational growth in warehouse and distribution related tasks. Liaise with related parties to ensure GI is done one time and Handle system related configuration to ensure reliable outbound from global MRP locations. Define delivery concepts and network setup to meet customer requirements, Delivery plan for all materials for the service business, across the value chain, and project management of continuous improvement initiatives within supply chain.


Responsibilities

  • Handle NCR notifications everyday raised by Originators for Product and Non-Product Deviations in SAP ERP system.
  • Individually handle the assigned notifications and facilitate the customers to provide Disposition action.
  • Review, Priorities and Assign right Partners to the NC issue.
  • Creating Supplementary NCR for Internally Supplied Products.
  • Initiating Disposition Supplier Request.
  • Validating the Task Decision that are provided by the Supplier.
  • Decide Disposition Action and Recover possible Costs.
  • Follow-up and Coordination with internal customers, Stakeholders and Suppliers.
  • Account NC Costs and Complete Notification.
  • Participation in continuous Improvement activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
  • 5+ years hands on experience in Procurement, Warehousing, Handling Non-Conformity Issues for Product and Non-Product deviations.
  • Solid experience with Microsoft Excel/Power Point.
  • Knowledge in SQL and Excel Macros
  • Experience with ERP-(SAP) system

Competencies

  • Good communication skills in English both written and oral.
  • Good analytical skill and practical knowledge on Warehouse Management system and activities.
  • Flexible regarding work hours due to sites in US Countries.
  • Structured and organized.
  • Outgoing and polite towards our stakeholders.
  • A cooperative participant in team dynamics
  • Takes initiative and is highly motivated.
