QHSE services function closely collaborates with Global, Functional & Regional stake holders across globe in providing value-added service in Quality, Health, Safety and Environment domain across Vestas value chain. QHSE services is part of EBSC service center located in Chennai. As Manager of Management system and audits you will be handling a team of highly qualified, experience & diverse professionals. You will be owning Management system and audit services and solutions in line with business and stake holder's needs. You will be reporting to the Head of QHSE services in EBSC and be part for the EBSC leadership team.



Responsibilities

  • Define, adapt, maintain and govern the global integrated QHSE Management System in line with the QHSE Strategy, ISO 9001, 14001 and 450011 to support the strategic and operational goals of the organization, across the value chain

  • Manage the QHSE related Management Systems setup and requirements and related global processes within Vestas in alignment relevant stakeholders

  • Collaborate and contribute to developing Internal audit plan and governance.

  • Demonstrate external and internal customer and stakeholder (interested parties) focus by Lead with respect to cultural diversity and ensure the continuous development of team to ensure employees are empowered and motivated

  • Aligns team / department / function priorities, planning and actions to the overall business goals

  • Lead and inspire team of diverse people within attraction, recruitment, and onboarding

  • Ensure collaboration with and continuous engagement with relevant senior stakeholders across the business

  • Set goals, prioritise tasks, delegate and support team in achieving the outcomes.

  • Coach and develop functional expertise

  • Appraise and improve team performance



Qualifications

  • Experienced people leader with minimum 5 years of people leadership experience working in QMS and HSE

  • Bachelor's Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or comparable) and 5+ years of relevant experience preferably as ISO experts, auditor or a similar position

  • Auditor for standards like ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or ISO 45001

  • Experience in delivering strategic initiatives, change management and governing tactical plan.

  • Knowledge of implementation of quality management systems (QMS)

  • Capable of understanding and overcoming different cultural and language obstacles to provide solutions that satisfy global, regional, and local objectives.

  • Hands on experience in deployment & implementation of various audit & GEMBA across value chain

  • Experience in developing and conducting various quality audit plans, QMS, ISO, VDA etc.

  • Qualifications in project management, HSE, Continuous Improvement, Lean Six Sigma will be an added advantage.
