Lead Pricing Analyst
Global Commercial Transactional, within the Global Service Business Unit is working across the aftermarket sales (transactional) business areas of the Service business. In close cooperation with global functions and service regions across the globe we are implementing the commercial transactional strategy and day-to-day improvements supporting our sales regions fulfilling Vestas´ "Profitable Growth" strategy.
The team is responsible for gathering and sharing best practices, implementing global improvement initiatives across the value chain and sales regions, subsequently ensuring that the transactional business is operated as efficiently as possible. Transactional business performance is likewise globally tracked across finance, processes and systems ensuring that we deliver continues improvement agendas across regions and functions.
This role reports directly to the Head of Global Transactional Pricing. As a Lead Pricing Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping and executing Vestas' pricing strategy across our global transactional (aftermarket) service business. This position is central to supporting our "Profitable Growth" ambition by ensuring effective pricing models and continuous improvement across regions and functions. You'll collaborate with key stakeholders across Global Commercial, Regional Sales, Finance, and Digital Solutions to enhance pricing logic, improve operational efficiency, and support strategic pricing initiatives for both existing and emerging business areas.
Responsibilities
- Optimize and maintain the global spare parts pricing model in collaboration with key stakeholders to maximize value capture.
- Partner with regional sales teams to reinforce and optimize discount structures based on customer segmentation and commercial priorities.
- Establish and implement a new pricing operating model with checks and balances to ensure the accuracy and reliability of pricing data.
- Act as a pricing SME, provide expert support to global and regional functions through in-depth pricing analysis, with market-based and competitive insights.
- Drive the development of pricing intelligence capabilities in collaboration with regional service sales teams.
- Design and implement pricing strategies for future new business areas, such as tool rentals and additional service offerings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in pricing, business analytics, commercial strategy, or a similar domain.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to work with complex datasets to impact business decisions.
- Experience with SAP, SAC, or any pricing and analytics tools is a plus.
